About The Position
The Manager of Pharmacy Procurement and Logistics leads enterprise-wide drug purchasing, inventory management, and distribution strategies across MaineHealth. The role ensures cost-effective, compliant, and efficient procurement and logistics operations that support patient care and organizational goals. The Manager collaborates with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Pharmacy Operations to optimize vendor relationships, streamline workflows, and maintain drug availability across all sites of care.
Requirements
- An advanced degree (PharmD, MBA, MHA, MPH, or MS).
- Must be a registered Pharmacist or eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
- Three years of experience in pharmacy procurement, supply chain, or healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide drug purchasing, inventory management, and distribution strategies across MaineHealth.
- Ensure procurement and logistics operations are cost-effective, compliant, and efficient, and support patient care and organizational goals.
