About The Position

STO Building Group is seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Manager, People Analytics & Workforce Intelligence to help build and advance our enterprise workforce analytics capability. This role will serve as a key member of the Total Rewards team and partner closely with HR Leadership, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, IT, Finance, and business leaders across the enterprise. This position will help transform workforce data into actionable business intelligence — enabling more informed decision-making related to recruiting, retention, workforce planning, engagement, compensation, organizational effectiveness, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics skills with business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex workforce data into meaningful insights and recommendations for leaders across the organization. This role will also support the continued evolution of STOBG’s workforce reporting, dashboarding, automation, and AI-enabled analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, HR Reporting, HRIS, Compensation Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong experience working with Oracle HCM reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, HRIS, IT, Finance, and business leaders.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within construction, engineering, professional services, or project-based industries.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-business unit or geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools and workforce intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, or advanced analytics tools preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive dashboards and leadership reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise people analytics, workforce reporting, and executive dashboards.
  • Support reporting and KPI frameworks related to: turnover and retention, recruiting and staffing, workforce demographics, leadership pipeline and succession, engagement and culture, performance and development, compensation and rewards, workforce planning and labor trends.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for HR leadership, senior executives, and business leaders.
  • Build visual dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and related analytics tools.
  • Analyze workforce trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Support workforce planning and talent forecasting initiatives.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to retention, hiring, mobility, engagement, and workforce health.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner closely with HRIS and IT teams to optimize workforce data architecture, reporting capabilities, integrations, and data governance.
  • Serve as a key HR partner supporting Oracle HCM reporting and workforce analytics.
  • Help improve data integrity, automation, standardization, and reporting efficiency across HR systems and platforms.
  • Assist in the development of AI-enabled workforce insights and automation capabilities.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to develop analytics related to: recruiting funnel effectiveness, source of hire, time-to-fill, quality of hire, recruiter productivity, agency utilization and costs, workforce demand forecasting.
  • Support enterprise staffing strategies tied to growth initiatives and project mobilization efforts.
  • Support analytics related to employee engagement, development programs, succession planning, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health.
  • Help synthesize workforce and survey data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing executive summaries and presentations for HR leadership and senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve workforce insights and reduce manual reporting processes.
  • Support the continued evolution of self-service analytics and workforce intelligence capabilities.
  • Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in people analytics and HR technology.
