About The Position

The Patient Accounts Representative Manager (PAR Manager) is responsible for the management of Patient Accounts Representatives and Business Services. The PAR Manager is the initial contact for patient, employee, and physician concerns relating to account information. The PAR Manager must be willing to assume duties of subordinates in emergency situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to five (2-5) years of proven experience managing teams within a healthcare setting/healthcare revenue cycle or patient accounts department
  • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Composure in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail‑oriented
  • Strong multitasking and independent‑work capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to follow established workflows consistently

Nice To Haves

  • College degree
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance carriers
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and collections strategies
