About The Position

Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring a Patient Access Manager. This position is responsible for the operations and success of Registration Services/Patient Financial Services. The role involves managing high-volume areas with significant strategic and financial impact on the current and future success of the organization. Responsibilities include the coordination of the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer service expectations, and providing leadership and administering human resource policies and practices in a multi-skilled, multi-functional environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 3 years of applicable managerial experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) - Certification - National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) (Required within 12 months of hire)
  • Supervisor experience in Patient Access or Patient Accounting - 3yrs (Required)
