About The Position

The Patient Access Services Manager is responsible for providing superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding customer service while ensuring the most efficient processes are followed to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for all registration entry points. The manager will work with the team to meet and exceed goals established by Baptist Health Care. This role involves maintaining all personnel aspects of the Emergency Department and outpatient access departments of Gulf Breeze Hospital, and Baptist Medical Park Nine Mile, Baptist Medical Park Navarre, and Baptist Medical Park Airport. Key responsibilities include hiring and coaching registration representatives, ensuring proper staff training, and managing team member time off. The manager will supervise and mentor area team leads and/or supervisors to achieve operational goals through communication, monitoring, and process improvement. This position requires open communication with other division leaders, their team, and clinical counterparts to ensure the best patient care. The manager will direct the team in meeting patient satisfaction and financial goals through proper staffing and training, and will be an expert in the technology relevant to their departments' processes.
