About The Position

Snap Inc. is a technology company focused on improving communication through its camera-based products. The company operates Snapchat, Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services. Snapchat's music-based creative tools allow users to add licensed music to their snaps, and the company is expanding its Partnerships Operations team to support these tools globally. This role will focus on the music content rights landscape, digital supply chain operations, and managing partner relationships.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in global business operations, partnerships operations, rights management, digital media, music, technology, or related strategic roles
• Positive relationships with major and independent music content owners
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Creative and innovative thinker with a proven track record for solving complex problems
• Team player who can work across multiple groups, including product, engineering, legal, and other XFN teams
• Bias for action in a lean work environment

Responsibilities

• Manage content ingestion practices (DDEX), digital supply chain operations, publishing clearance, and metadata management.
• Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and other key provisions from complex licensing agreements.
• Manage 3rd party service providers.
• Oversee content management system architecture and development.
• Drive Automation & Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and tooling. Partner with technical teams to implement solutions that improve accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
• Resolve Complex Partner Issues: Serve as a key escalation point for complex partner challenges, including revenue discrepancies, reporting issues, and product-related concerns. Investigate root causes and drive timely, effective resolutions.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner across Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal, to ensure alignment and operational readiness for new initiatives, product launches, and policy changes.
