Kainaiwa Children’s Services Corporation is a growing, dynamic First Nations organization providing programs and services to Blood Tribe children and families in need of support and protection so that they can become positive, healthy contributing members of our community; While maintaining KCSC’s Vision, Mission Statements and incorporating Blood Tribe Traditions through “Kainayssini” the Declaration of the Elders of the Blood Indian Nation. Under the supervision of the Corporate Executive Officer of Kainaiwa Children’s Services Corporation, the Manager is responsible for leadership, supervision, and overall oversight of Prevention and Support Programs in a manner that reflects the Kainai/Blood Tribe Family Preservation Code and the Stawatsimaani “Raising Children” Framework. The Manager supports prevention, family preservation, cultural continuity, and the well-being of children, youth, and families by providing guidance, direction, and accountability to staff; fostering collaborative working relationships; promoting culturally grounded and trauma-informed practice; and ensuring services are delivered in a coordinated, respectful, and community-based manner. In addition to the duties outlined below, the Manager shall perform other related duties as assigned by the Corporate Executive Officer from time to time.
