About The Position

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly is a 100% employee-owned grocery chain with 10 locations in Southeastern Wisconsin. We have been awarded “Top Workplace” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for several years in a row. This position reports directly to the Store Director and Assistant Store Manager and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day store operations during assigned shifts. The basic function is to monitor day-to-day store operations, appearance, and staffing, acting as the first line of contact for general operational/supervisory concerns or emergencies. This role also addresses customer needs, wants, and complaints that require special attention and promotes positive customer, community, and employee relations, fostering team cooperation.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a lead role within a retail/grocery environment.
Able to perform department operations, practices, and procedures within a retail/grocery environment.
Self-directed and results-oriented.
Project a positive business image and lead by example.
Good attention to detail and follow-through skills.
Good customer relations skills.
Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality, and safety requirements.
Works efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices.
Do basic computer entries required for this position.
Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.
Work hours required, including flexible shift schedules, overtime, and weekends.
