About The Position

The Manager of Offer Management leads a team responsible for various business functions such as sales opportunity review, strategy development, profitability analysis, contract negotiation, and networking service design. The position requires experience and knowledge of contract negotiations, contract language creation, project management, custom offer construction, sales processes, along with team leadership and coaching. Ideal candidate is detail oriented, a skilled negotiator, excellent communicator, a strong coach and leader, and has the desire to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment in support of the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 12+ years experience with finance, pricing, or offer management
  • 7+ years leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales teams with guidance on pricing, pricing structure, and strategy.
  • Assist the legal group with terms and conditions in custom contracts.
  • Help back-office personnel resolve implementation, billing, and technical issues.
  • Ensure team productivity meets targets and be accountable for results.
  • Provide professional, proactive commercial and business input to contractual elements, business direction, and overall commercial solutions in support of major clients or prospects.
  • Offer input regarding commercial contractual matters in the bid process for complex and non-standard opportunities.
  • Prepare senior management summaries for contract negotiations.
  • Review financial data related to special pricing requests and identify potential risks associated with legal terms, product descriptions, and price concessions.
  • Maintain thorough records supporting all business cases.
  • Use strong business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
  • Build and manage key working relationships with Direct Sales, Senior Executives, Legal, Product Management, Regulatory, Billing, and Network Engineering teams.
  • Support multiple sales teams with special pricing requests and negotiate large contracts with customers.
