About The Position

AquaPhoenix Scientific, a leader in the global commercial water treatment industry, is seeking an experienced and effective Manager of Technical Solutions and Business Development. Primary responsibilities include driving revenue growth by aligning technical expertise with strategic business opportunities. This will require focus on client engagement, technical consulting and business development to support customer growth, retention, and long-term partnerships. Requires extensive knowledge of the commercial water treatment industry with a diverse background in product specifications and utilization, sales, and industry applications and trends. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial water treatment industry (or similar) offering technical solutions and strategic opportunities to customers and end users.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial water treatment industry
  • Diverse background in product specifications and utilization, sales, and industry applications and trends
  • Deep understanding of the commercial water treatment industry (or similar) offering technical solutions and strategic opportunities to customers and end users
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or technical related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
  • Five or more years’ direct industry experience, preferably in the water treatment industry
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Research markets, uncover customer segments, and track industry trends to identify new revenue streams.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a strategic advisor to engage early with decision-makers, build client rapport, and present custom solutions.
  • Partnerships: Establish and nurture mutually beneficial collaborations and strategic partnerships.
  • Solution Architecture: Translate client requirements into actionable, feasible, and scalable technical solutions.
  • Pre-Sales & Proposals: Develop detailed technical proposals, business cases, and financial scenarios to win new business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between external clients and internal product or engineering teams, ensuring delivery aligns with customer expectations.
