About The Position

Fairview Range is hiring a Manager (RN) for our Surgical Services team in Hibbing, MN. The Manager will oversee twenty-four hour per day management responsibility and accountability for nursing care delivery, human resources, operation, financial, and quality improvement for the surgical unit. The Manager will ensure both quality and regulatory compliance takes place; educational opportunities are provided as well as maintaining clinical competencies of staff; and oversee financial management. They will serve as a leader and role model to all staff. The Surgical Services unit has over 55 physicians, making it the largest surgical staff on the Iron Range. They offer a variety of surgical services in areas such as ENT, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and General Surgery. The unit is a Level IV trauma center and performs emergency, inpatient, and outpatient surgeries and procedures. The unit includes 4 operating rooms, 17 Same Day Surgery cubicles, and 6 recovery room cubicles, performing an average of more than 3000 surgical procedures per year. The multidisciplinary care team includes Physicians, APPs, CRNAs, RNs, Surgical Techs, and Instrument Tech/Unit Assistants. The patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. Requirements

Bachelor of Arts in Nursing or related field (If Bachelor’s is not in nursing, then must have master’s degree in nursing)
2 years surgical services clinical nursing experience
MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current Certification in Surgical Services, or willing to obtain within 2 Yrs
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc)
Pediatric Adv Life Support (American Heart Assoc)
ICS 100, 200, and 700 certifications, or willing to achieve within 1 Year
