Director of Procedural and Surgical Services
About The Position
Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Procedural and Surgical Services to lead and elevate our clinical operations in Phoenix, AZ. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of surgical care delivery within a forward-thinking organization that values excellence, innovation, and patient-centered outcomes. This is a full-time leadership position with 24-hour operational oversight of Operating Room, Pre-op, PACU, Cath Lab, and EP Lab services. The role focuses on clinical excellence, patient safety, staff leadership, physician collaboration, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth of surgical services.
Requirements
- Progressive nursing leadership experience in perioperative/surgical services
- Strong Operating Room/Surgical Services management experience
- Experience overseeing areas such as OR, Pre-op, PACU, Cath Lab, and/or EP Lab
- Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams in an acute-care hospital
- Strong knowledge of staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource management
- Budgeting and financial-performance management experience
- Quality improvement and patient-safety experience
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Experience partnering with surgeons, anesthesia providers, physicians, and executive leadership
- Employee engagement, staff development, retention, and succession-planning experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Arizona RN license or eligibility for Arizona licensure required.
Nice To Haves
- CNOR or another relevant specialty certification preferred
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred/required based on final client confirmation
