About The Position

AbleLight is hiring a Manager of Residential Operations for its Cornelius, Oregon markets. The role leads teams delivering person-centered care and services to people with developmental disabilities in residential settings. The position supports AbleLight’s purpose of helping people with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential. It is an onsite role, with travel between program sites.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in a work position, volunteer or community role, or educational setting focused on serving and helping others.
• Two to three years of leadership experience.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and individuals who lead others, building a culture that aligns their talents and commitment with serving people supported.
• Develop others, empower teams, promote collaboration, remove barriers, achieve results, and recognize and appreciate colleagues to help attract and retain diverse talent.
• Create an environment where everyone can thrive.
• Partner with operational leaders, human resources, quality, and nursing to welcome, onboard, train, and mentor new leaders.
• Identify additional training and development needs for programs and leaders’ teams as part of Quarterly Connections.
• Monitor metrics and budgets to support area and state business results.
• Model positive leadership behaviors through individual conduct.
• Serve as a resource for colleagues, people supported, and parents or guardians when local leadership efforts have not resolved an issue.
• Recommend quality and process improvements for employees and people served, including enhancements to standard operating procedures.
• Help enhance the lives of the people supported.
