About The Position

AbleLight is hiring a Manager of Residential Operations for its Cornelius, Oregon markets. The manager leads the team delivering person-centered care and services to people supported in residential settings. The role focuses on developing and empowering teams, fostering collaboration, removing barriers, achieving results, and creating an environment where employees and the people they support can thrive. The manager works with operational, human resources, quality, and nursing leaders to onboard and develop leaders, while maintaining attention to metrics and budgets and advancing quality and process improvements.

Requirements

Two to three years of experience in a work position, volunteer or community role, or educational setting focused on serving and helping others.
Two to three years of leadership experience.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead teams and individuals who lead others, aligning their talents and commitment with service to the people supported.
Develop others, empower teams, promote collaboration, remove barriers, achieve results, and recognize and appreciate colleagues to help attract and retain diverse talent.
Create an environment where everyone can thrive.
Partner with operational leaders, human resources, quality, and nursing to welcome, onboard, train, and mentor new leaders.
Identify additional training and development needs for programs and leaders’ teams as part of Quarterly Connections.
Maintain a focus on metrics and budgets to support area and state business results.
Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors through individual conduct.
Serve as a resource to colleagues, people supported, and parents or guardians when local leadership efforts have not successfully resolved an issue.
Bring forward recommendations for quality and process improvements to enhance standard operating procedures for employees and people served.
