About The Position

The Home Center Manager will have overall accountability for all sales and operational activity at his or her location. The manager is responsible for running a profitable organization within company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Industry experience is required
  • Proven sales & sales management experience in the manufactured housing industry
  • Strong business acumen
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to pass both a criminal background & drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Develops marketing strategies including advertising, local promotions, and merchandising.
  • Brings consumers to the Home Center.
  • Manages all sales activities at the sales center.
  • Ensures all sales professionals complete ‘Sales 101’ training.
  • Conducts weekly sales meetings.
  • Manages comprehensive sales activity using Prospector.
  • Personal sales accountability.
  • Secures appropriate insurance based on customer needs.
  • Runs all aspects of the business.
  • Manages and analyzes the P&L statement regularly.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive expense control plan.
  • Orders and manages all sales center inventory.
  • Pays vendors using the online PO system.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of the Home Center property.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develops business plans annually and sets goals with the team.
  • Manages team members, including scheduling, payroll, performance management, progressive counseling, conflict resolution, and other HR duties.
  • Recruits, interviews, and hires all Home Center team members.
  • Develops and trains team members to support company growth.
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.
  • Manages all service, set-up, and delivery activities.
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participates in resolving customer complaints and disputes.
  • Manages the foreclosure process and re-markets foreclosed inventory.
  • Ensures location compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develops and trains team members to support company growth.
