About The Position
The Manager of Plant Operations manages work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, Engineering, Grounds, and Safety. The Manager serves as liaison between the Medical Center and contracted personnel or vendors performing Facilities-related work, and presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians, and the public.
Requirements
- Basic experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials, and safety management.
- Management experience.
- Knowledge of hospital-associated codes.
- Experience managing or supervising Facilities-related departments such as EVS, Security, Grounds, and Biomed.
- Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
- College degree.
