About The Position

The Manager of Finance - Trillium Place is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of Trillium Place affiliates, including the production of periodic financial reports, oversight of accounting systems, adherence to a comprehensive set of internal controls, management of budgets, budget preparation, grant reporting and grant budgets, oversight of respective Analysts and Accountants and Representative Payees. This role aims to enhance the accuracy of the organization's reported financial results and ensure reported results comply with GAAP, state and federal regulations. This position oversees Trillium Place revenue cycle and supervises Revenue Cycle Supervisors and Revenue Cycle staff. Additionally, this position is responsible for other corporate functional accounting areas as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Business Management, Accounting, Related Field.
6+ years in grant accounting.
Fiscal oversight experience in a complex behavioral health organization setting including budgeting, recording and analysis of fiscal activity.
Knowledge of GAAP, grant cost principals.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Strong data management, organizational and computer skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with ability to learn new concepts.
Experience developing financials reports and metrics.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the managerial oversight of accounting and financial operations of Trillium Place and its affiliates.
Responsible for the development and supervision of direct reports including hiring, proper training/cross-training, and planning and leading activities.
Manages development, action and goals through the performance management system.
Collaborate with other leaders and staff on problem solving and analysis, communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process of Trillium Place and its affiliates, develop grant budgets, analyze revenue and cost variances against budgets, and assist leaders with action planning as needed based upon outcomes of analysis.
Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP, act as a liason to internal and external auditors and other external reporting agencies, assist with preparation and review of quarterly and year-end audited financial statements.
Interpret general ledger internal control needs, including working with internal auditors in planning and implementing solutions in identified areas.
Cultivate continuous process improvement.
Keep abreast of current industry regulations and happenings.
Responsible for other duties as required/assigned.
Responsible for the managerial oversight of accounting, financial operations, revenue cycle/HIM, and representative payees of Trillium Place and its affiliates.
Overseeing and managing all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis reporting.
Responsible for grant reporting, grant compliance, and grant budgeting.
Collaborating with operational leaders throughout Trillium Plance and Carle on productivity management, growth opportunities, and strategic planning.
Performing ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making.
