  • 3-5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data management, ideally including experience untangling fragmented or inconsistent data environments
  • Experience with BI/visualization platforms (e.g., Dexibit, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and relational data concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Dexibit is a plus but not required.
  • Nonprofit, cultural institution, hospitality, or attractions-industry experience is a plus, particularly with visitation, ticketing, or membership data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary steward of data quality and governance across institutional systems, identifying and resolving inconsistent definitions, duplicated metrics, and fragmented data sources.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with the Dexibit business intelligence platform, ensuring the data feeding it is accurate, well-structured, and trusted by end users.
  • Design and manage a centralized data lake architecture to consolidate institutional data.
  • Partner with department leaders across the institution to understand their reporting and analytics needs, and translate those needs into consistent, reusable dashboards and data structures.
  • Build and maintain institutional KPI reporting, including Board metrics, in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Support evaluation and integration of visitor and guest data sources, the guest ticketing/CRM stack.
  • Establish documented data definitions and stewardship practices for top institutional metrics (attendance, membership, revenue, visitation, program participation).
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual, spreadsheet-based reporting in favor of governed, repeatable analytics processes.
  • Act as a proactive analytics business partner to every department, following the ITBP service model rather than functioning as a reactive request queue.
  • Escalate significant data quality, integration, or system-fragmentation issues to Technology leadership with recommended remediation.
