Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a licensed or registered childcare facility required.
  • Current status on the Early Childhood Practitioner Registry and successful completion of Teacher Orientation ARM37.95.163 required.

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of sixty (60) hours of infant/toddler and sixty (60) hours of preschool coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for our childcare center.
  • Guide the vision, culture, and day-to-day operations of the program while ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children and families.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of childcare professionals dedicated to excellence in early childhood education.
  • Foster a positive, supportive culture where employees feel valued, empowered, and inspired to grow.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and evaluate staff while supporting professional development and career growth.
  • Build strong relationships with families and serve as a trusted resource for communication, support, and service recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Oversee budgets, grants, scholarships, funding sources, and operational resources to ensure long-term program success.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement through data analysis, collaboration, and strategic planning.
  • Maintain a visible presence within the center and lead by example through professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
