About The Position

DePauw University is seeking a Manager of Campus Ethics Programs to supervise and coordinate the Prindle Institute for Ethics' interactive ethics programming for undergraduate students. This role involves managing the year-long Hillman Internship Program, which engages 30-40 students in ethics education and community engagement, and supervising the Ethics, Civics, and Leadership Program for scholarship recipients. The Manager will also be responsible for expanding co-curricular programming for undergraduates and fostering connections with campus partners. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and mentoring students in co-curricular settings and a strong understanding of ethics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the suite of ethics education programming for the DePauw undergraduate community in conjunction with the Director.
  • Develop new programming for the DePauw undergraduate community.
  • Coordinate and manage the Prindle Institute programs that serve DePauw undergraduates.
  • Build connections with campus partners, including academic departments, faculty and staff, and other Centers to ensure program sustainability.
  • Collaborate with other Prindle Institute staff to integrate undergraduate participation in other Institute initiatives.
  • Manage the Hillman Intern Program.
  • Manage the Ethics, Civics, and Leadership program for Prindle, Jordan, Sanger scholarship awardees.
  • Facilitate workshops, especially those involving DePauw students.
  • Work major Prindle Institute events such as Prindlepalooza and the High School Ethics Bowl.
  • Conduct research related to topics with ethical import aligned with the Institute's goals.
  • Host guests to the Prindle Institute and serve as an ambassador.
  • Promote and market Prindle sponsored events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
