About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for management and coordination of all recovery efforts within the lending environment including disposition of repossessed collateral, foreclosed properties including consumer, small business /commercial and internal recovery efforts. Additionally, this position oversees the management of the various recovery vendors utilized by the retail loan adjustments group. The incumbent also manages the clerical staff within retail loan adjustments.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the disposition of OREO assets within the Retail Lending unit while maximizing the return on those assigned properties.
  • Manages the repossession efforts and disposition of repossessed assets to minimize expense while maximizing returns at auctions.
  • Manages the various collection agencies utilized by the Bank while maintaining controls over the expenses for those agencies.
  • Monitors all recovery efforts to ensure that the bank is not being put at risk.
  • Maintains all vendor management requirements for those vendors.
  • Manages the internal recovery efforts and builds out the recovery team of loan adjustors to maximize recovery dollars.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program.
