About The Position

The Manager of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the admissions process and ensuring that all clients receive the best possible care. This role involves developing and implementing admissions policies and procedures, managing client intake, and supervising the admissions team. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving productivity, census, and admission goals for various programs. The Manager of Admissions also plays a key role in building relationships with other treatment facilities and ensuring financial arrangements are confirmed before client admission.

Requirements

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of admissions experience
  • Two (2) years minimum of supervisory experience
  • Familiar with ethical standards
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • At least one (1) year experience in trauma treatment background

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the admissions process and ensuring clients receive the best possible care.
  • Developing and implementing admissions policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all referrals are contacted via phone, email, webchat, voicemail, etc.
  • Collecting patient demographics and building charts in the EMR system.
  • Connecting clients with the appropriate team member after screening their needs.
  • Building rapport with other treatment facilities to build a referral community.
  • Examining trends in referral action and percentage of admissions.
  • Conducting chart and program audits.
  • Ensuring programs (Grace, Joy, IOP, and OP) meet productivity, census, and admission goals.
  • Ensuring client balances have been met before admitting to the program or payment plans have been confirmed.
  • Supervising the work of assigned personnel, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Conducting census meetings.
  • Working closely with all directors and Founder/Owner.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
