About The Position
CareBridge Health is seeking candidates with People Management/People Leadership experience and an active, unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner license in either Tennessee or Virginia for a 100% virtual Manager Nurse Practitioners role. This role allows associates to work virtually full-time, with occasional in-person training, offering flexibility and autonomy. CareBridge Health, part of the Elevance Health family, focuses on enabling individuals in home and community-based settings to maximize their health, independence, and quality of life. The Manager, Nurse Practitioners is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient patient treatment while managing multiple Nurse Practitioners.
Requirements
- MS in Nursing and minimum of 5 years of nurse practitioner experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Current, unrestricted RN Compact license.
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the states of either Tennessee or Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- Direct People Management/People Leadership experience in a healthcare setting either virtual/remote or in person is Highly preferred.
- Active Medicaid license number in the states of either Tennessee or Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages Clinical Programs operations.
- Manages patient caseloads.
- Provides resources and direction to Nurse Practitioners.
- Performs physical examinations, preventive health measures, and follow up visits within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
- Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Discusses case with physician and formulates and documents care plan.
- Prescribes medication or other forms of treatment.
- Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with best practices, protocols, and quality measures.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
