About The Position

CareBridge Health is seeking candidates with People Management/People Leadership experience and an active, unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner license in either Tennessee or Virginia for a 100% virtual Manager Nurse Practitioners role. This role allows associates to work virtually full-time, with occasional in-person training, offering flexibility and autonomy. CareBridge Health, part of the Elevance Health family, focuses on enabling individuals in home and community-based settings to maximize their health, independence, and quality of life. The Manager, Nurse Practitioners is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient patient treatment while managing multiple Nurse Practitioners.

Requirements

  • MS in Nursing and minimum of 5 years of nurse practitioner experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Current, unrestricted RN Compact license.
  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the states of either Tennessee or Virginia.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct People Management/People Leadership experience in a healthcare setting either virtual/remote or in person is Highly preferred.
  • Active Medicaid license number in the states of either Tennessee or Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages Clinical Programs operations.
  • Manages patient caseloads.
  • Provides resources and direction to Nurse Practitioners.
  • Performs physical examinations, preventive health measures, and follow up visits within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
  • Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Discusses case with physician and formulates and documents care plan.
  • Prescribes medication or other forms of treatment.
  • Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with best practices, protocols, and quality measures.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
