About The Position
The Manager of Mental Health Services - Outpatient is responsible for managing, planning, administering, and evaluating outpatient programs to ensure high-quality patient care, teamwork, and coordination of care. This role involves determining work priorities, preparing daily work assignments, approving overtime, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements. The manager will serve as a resource for outpatient site nursing personnel, resolving operational and patient care problems, and acting as a physician liaison and role model for staff. Additionally, the manager will identify areas for improvement, recommend procedural revisions, and implement changes.
Requirements
- If RN, Bachelor’s Degree OR Masters Degree and Clinical Licensure (LSCW/LCPC/LCP)
- Applicant who does not possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) must begin course work toward obtaining a degree within first six months of employment
- CPI within 90 days of hire
- Previous inpatient experience
- Management experience
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with continuum of care and assessment and intervention skills.
- Knowledge of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health.
