As part of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, affordable systems to our customers. From supplier management to program execution, GSCM ensures safety, security, and sustainability while driving efficiency and effectiveness across all program phases. As a Material Program Manager (MPM), you’ll lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain functions to meet program objectives. This role requires you to manage complex supply chain strategies, mitigate risks, and oversee subcontractor performance, all while ensuring alignment with program goals and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, or Program/Project Management.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs).
  • Must obtain MPM certification level 4 within 1 year of hire.
  • Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application.
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to successfully manage budgets and resolving complex issues to meet program objectives and deadlines.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in a Matrix organizational structure.
  • Knowledge of government acquisition regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS) and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute material program plans and subcontract management plans as applicable.
  • Create and implement risk and opportunity management plans to address program responsibilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct quarterly financial management reviews using Earned Value Management (EVM) through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to develop and maintain schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively resolve program and functional issues.
  • Support gate reviews, EAC reviews, program reviews, and risk and opportunity management reviews.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and execution.
