Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for their Standard Missile Munitions Acceleration Program to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone looking to work directly with the supply base. This role requires knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain role.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Secret - Current security clearance.
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with suppliers.
  • Experience supporting developmental engineering programs.
  • Project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
  • Ownership of Material Forecast and identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Manage material budgets and support EACs.
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participate in supplier engagements and review to ensure supplier performance.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues.
  • Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan.
