About The Position

The Golden State Valkyries are looking for a Manager to lead execution for our marketing efforts surrounding our growing Corporate Partnerships vertical. In this role, you will collaborate with the broader Marketing team and cross-functional teams to lead the development and execution of partner marketing plans, including ideation for partner proposals. Additionally, you will ensure partnership deals are fulfilled according to contract delivering unique partner marketing campaigns across digital, social, events, community, in-game experiences, and more. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing - Partnerships. This is a full-time position based onsite in Oakland, CA with time spent in San Francisco for game days.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing/Advertising/Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, preferably within sports/entertainment marketing or partnerships
  • Proficiency in project management tools, preferably Asana
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, attention to detail and resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and media scheduling in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience doing project management for game experiences

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Manager on development and execution of strategic partner campaign plans from inception to execution for partnership initiatives ensuring campaigns align with partnership goals while staying on brand for the Golden State Valkyries
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing teams (Studio, Social, Game Experience) on all marketing efforts ensuring alignment and best-in-class execution
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to align on roadmap for partner marketing initiatives
  • Lead overall project timelines related to requested campaigns/tasks
  • Help manage procurement of promotional goods, signage, installations, and other materials to meet partner campaign objectives
  • Other duties as assigned
