About The Position

The Marketing Manager has overall responsibility for planning and executing the day-to-day marketing strategy. The role is accountable for developing well-rounded, strategic and creative plans for the company’s various brands and product lines. This role will interact face-to-face with internal and external customers, specifically: foodservice, retail and corporate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing environment
  • Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strategic, critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Mastery of project management, including the ability to prioritize work, manage the demands of fast-paced projects + tight deadlines
  • Knowledgeable about digital analytics, SEO and website platforms
  • Good understanding of graphic/image file formats and specifications
  • Understanding of interacting with and managing demanding client needs
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with foodservice research providers (ie: Technomic; Datassential; Mintel; NPD; etc.) is a plus.
  • 2 years’ work experience managing multiplatform marketing campaigns for a food based retailer and/or foodservice operators

Responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and Public Relations.
  • Work closely with SVP of Foodservice to provide support to foodservice sales team.
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization. Including but not limited to external and internal customer campaigns; new and existing foodservice and retail products/brands; events; digital marketing; Public Relations, etc.
  • Work closely with Sr. Director of Marketing developing/executing digital strategies for all branded websites and social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook; Instagram; LinkedIn; etc.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends and aligns AOP goals with these market insights.
  • Ensures alignment with strategy and brand, establishes priorities, and recommends resource tradeoffs.
  • Reviews return on investment trends to ensure effective budget management across the business and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborates with marketing leadership and other stakeholders to drive execution and success of projects.
  • Research and identify areas of opportunity for the betterment of George’s Inc. and our customers.
