Leads the team to support overall department processes and procedures. Held accountable to enforce, set, or manage all departmental and Company guidelines and policies Oversee hiring processes of new team members including interviews, onboarding, and development. Ensure staffing is at optimum levels based on departmental requirements Oversee and lead team development and training. Proactively work with key business partners including resort operations, HUA, marketing support, and sales to ensure mutual goals are aligned and supported. Proactively seek new opportunities for the growth of the department. Expected to have weekly updates with Senior Leadership providing updates on the sites marketing operations. Must have advanced understanding of timeshare marketing environment and be able to give data driven reasoning behind results and forecast. Responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relations with sales and tour reception to meet the needs of the business. Develops/coaches individual Team Members, in an on-going process, to ensure their commitment and understanding of the sales process to generate maximum efficiencies Organizes frequent training for Marketing Team Members. Regularly informs Senior Leadership of any relevant information regarding business needs and/or Team Members Implements and maintains tools used to enhance productivity for Team Members Responsible for accurate documentation of all Team Member issues within department. Provides coaching and performance documentation to Team Members for performance standards, including performance reviews Responds to Team Members inquiries regarding payroll, NQ’s, coding, spiffs Creates and fosters a motivated Team environment Handles employee relations matters appropriately and seeks counsel from leadership/Human Resources when needed Effectively manages schedule and PTO requests to achieve department requirements Oversee all scheduling for team members Develops Policies/Procedures and Training Manuals are updated as directed by Sr Director of Marketing. Meets and achieves monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for: tour flow, volume, VPG, and package sales. Resolves customer relations issues pertaining to Marketing at the sales galleries or post tour Ensures all locations have current promotions and materials including gift lists, invitations, and promotional items Ability to cover shifts as needed including interacting with guests, booking of tours and selling of packages. Regularly monitors marketing rep’s presentations and all customer interactions Anticipates challenges and proactively problem solves with Management to mitigate effects on production Adheres to the HILTON Values, while also holding Marketing Team Members accountable to them as well Carry out all other reasonable requests by Management of which one is capable of performing. Must be available to work Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, all holidays and any other days/ hours as required per business needs.
