Since 1992, Tree Canada has worked relentlessly to grow Canada’s tree canopy through our greening programs, research, and engagement efforts. We are the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments. Our track record of collaborating with all levels of government, the urban forestry sector, business partners, and community groups uniquely positions us to engage Canadians in the fight against climate change. Together we plant millions of trees each year, helping to grow resilient ecosystems and healthier, greener communities across Canada. The Manager, Marketing and Events supports Tree Canada’s integrated marketing strategy by coordinating annual campaigns; managing relationships and budgets with creative, advertising and media partners and agencies; organizing promotional events; curating content; and analyzing campaign results and market data to direct and adapt future campaigns. The Manager also creates memorable and unique experiences for Tree Canada donors, sponsors, and communities through the planning and execution of in-person and virtual donor and community events. They oversee all aspects of events in support of donor/sponsor recognition, community engagement, workplace engagement, education, and awareness. The Manager, Marketing and Events facilitates and project manages events from conceptualization through to execution and post-event evaluation. This position works in close collaboration with the Development, Communications, and Finance departments, as well as with external partners.
