The Detroit Regional Chamber has been in business for over a century and is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected chambers of commerce in the country. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience working in marketing or similar fields
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced, flexible, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with a web content management system and mass e-mail program
  • Able to write creatively and effectively for a variety of audiences
  • Good knowledge of AP style

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing and communications for signature events including the Mackinac and Detroit Policy Conferences, Economic Equity and Inclusion program, TalentEd.
  • Manage the Chamber's Board Book creation.
  • Oversee timelines for projects as needed.
  • Oversee specific Chamber programs, including its relationship with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
  • Manage the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, ensuring alignment with the target audiences.
  • Coordinate the production of necessary assets to support plan execution.
