We are currently seeking a Major Case Unit (MCU) Manager to oversee the daily operations of the commercial major case unit team handling complex commercial claims. The selected individual will ensure that claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with state laws and company policies. This role can be located in one of FCCI’s office locations or remotely within FCCI states.

Requirements

Complex commercial claims handling experience
Knowledge of state laws and company policies
Leadership and team management skills
Experience with reserve approvals and settlements
Familiarity with litigation strategy and defense counsel management
Ability to analyze claim trends and performance data
Skills in resolving complex claim, coverage, and service issues
Strong stakeholder relationship management
Regulatory compliance knowledge

Responsibilities

Lead team workload planning and performance, optimizing workflows and driving process improvements.
Oversee claim operations, including reserve approvals, settlements, and compliance with authority guidelines.
Direct litigation strategy and manage defense counsel to ensure effective, cost-conscious claim resolution.
Analyze claim trends and performance data to inform decisions and support business objectives.
Resolve complex claim, coverage, and service issues while ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and regulatory compliance.
