About The Position

The Manager, Loyalty Partnerships will support the development and execution of key partner relationships within the PayPal rewards program. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help grow PayPal’s loyalty ecosystem through strategic brand partnerships that enhance member engagement, drive program value, and improve retention. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about loyalty and customer experience, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to support the ongoing expansion of a high-impact consumer rewards platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
  • Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
  • Shape long-term commercial strategy by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and partnership performance to prioritize high-impact growth opportunities.
  • Establish scalable partnership frameworks and operating models that streamline execution, enhance collaboration across teams, and ensure consistent delivery of partner value.
  • Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Research teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions — ensuring the technical design and implementation align with growth, commercial, and customer experience objectives
  • Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this knowledge to drive effective prioritization and decision-making.
  • Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders such as Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Banking Partners.
  • Drive member engagement and retention: support the execution of loyalty partnerships and campaigns that increase member engagement and satisfaction, reduce churn, and promote long-term program participation.
  • Support development of industry-leading partnerships: assist in executing a partner strategy for PayPal rewards across global markets, including helping with contract preparation, integration logistics, and partner onboarding.
  • Leverage PayPal’s existing merchant relationships: work alongside PayPal’s merchant-facing teams to identify opportunities to extend and enrich existing partnerships, providing operational support to build trust and mutual value.
  • Build and support strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships: develop a strong understanding of partner ecosystems and business models to help tailor solutions that align with both partner goals and PayPal’s rewards vision.
  • Execute and optimize partner campaigns: coordinate cross-functional activities related to campaign launches, partner communications, reporting, and performance tracking to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate across functions: partner with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Legal, Analytics, and Project Management to support the implementation and success of partner-driven initiatives.
  • Boost awareness and program impact: assist the Marketing team in executing strategies that promote partner offerings, enhance customer acquisition, and increase member spend within the PayPal ecosystem.
