About The Position

Leads the implementation and continuous improvement of leader development programs across the district, supporting a coherent approach to developing leaders at all stages from aspiring teacher leaders to experienced principals. Manages leadership pipeline initiatives focused on recruiting, preparing, and retaining diverse talent, with an emphasis on high need schools. Oversees a team responsible for delivering high quality learning and development experiences, and collaborates with cross functional partners to ensure alignment with district leadership frameworks and priorities. Contributes to the refinement of strategy and ensures consistent, effective execution of leader development efforts across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
  • 5+ years of directly related experience is required, including demonstrated expertise in educational leadership, principal preparation, complex program management, and systemic implementation at a large scale
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding educator licensure and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Leads the day-to-day implementation and continuous improvement of the district’s leadership pipeline programs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, hiring needs, succession planning efforts, and leadership competencies
  • Partners with the Office of Schools, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and central departments to support a cohesive approach to identifying, developing, and supporting school leaders
  • Serves as a key point of contact for leadership development initiatives and helps strengthen coordination across teams
  • Manages and develops a team responsible for designing and delivering onboarding and ongoing learning experiences for leaders, including mentoring and coaching supports.
  • Builds team capacity to ensure high quality program delivery
  • Oversees the collection and analysis of data related to leadership pipeline health, diversity, and readiness
  • Uses metrics such as retention, performance, and program outcomes to inform improvements and support reporting on progress toward district goals
  • Supports the refinement and scaling of leadership pipeline systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to efforts to strengthen how the district recruits, selects, and develops leaders
  • Other duties as assigned
