About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland. Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Landfill Operation Manager within our Environmental Operations Group. This position is responsible for the overall management and coordination of day-to-day operations at Maryland Environmental Service's two Subtitle D landfills, Midshore I and Midshore II, as well as two co-located homeowner drop-off facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 6 years of solid waste landfill management experience
- Valid SWANA MOLO (Manager of Landfill Operations) certification
- Valid driver's license with less than 5 points
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Nice To Haves
- Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above at the rate of one year of experience to one year of education, for up to four years of the required education.
