About The Position

Vista Innovative Solutions, LLC is seeking a candidate to provide professional Occupational Health Program Manager support to aid the mission of the School of Aerospace Medicine, 711 HPW. The role supports occupational and environmental health risk assessment, DOEHRS data management and reporting, knowledge management, and consultation on Air Force medical and force health protection issues. The work may include compiling and analyzing data, developing tools and references, and conducting special studies for Air Force and Department of Defense units worldwide.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field; an exception may be considered if experience warrants performing the Air Force tasks.
• Five years of work-related experience.
• At least five years of experience using the Defense Occupational Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS) and Business Objects Reporting tool.
• At least five years of experience creating and editing files and databases using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Visio.
• Experience developing complex Excel and Access tools to track enterprise-wide compliance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate broad datasets of comprehensive occupational and environmental health (OEH) risk assessment data to establish corporate business practices and reduce uncertainty about environmental and occupational health exposures.
• Analyze bioenvironmental engineering needs and develop reports and management tools to address identified gaps.
• Perform DOEHRS data entry and extraction, generate reporting requirements, define requirements, and create report mock-ups.
• Review and assess the impact of proposed changes in DOEHRS.
• Conduct environmental, safety, and occupational health risk assessments, including hazard identification, exposure assessment, toxicological assessment, and risk characterization using DOEHRS datasets.
• Write, review, design, and critique strategic, operational, and tactical objectives related to informatics and knowledge management.
• Design presentations to advocate proposals and implementation battle rhythms.
• Develop and deliver technical training to government staff.
• Consult on Air Force medical and force health protection issues, policy and regulation recommendations, risk assessments, and risk communication.
• Compile and analyze data, author tools and references, and conduct special studies supporting Air Force and DoD units worldwide.
