Summary: The Manager, IT Computing Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of the organization’s data center infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance and security of mission critical systems while coordinating with cross functional departments especially Facilities for power and HVAC projects. This includes 24x7x365 management of computer operations team activities and scheduling. This position will also have responsibility for understanding business strategy and incorporating data center requirements into day-to-day initiatives to meet future business demand. Essential Accountabilities: Oversees a 24/7 data center operations, ensuring uptime, balancing power distribution, reliability and performance of systems. Provides a single point of contact and escalation for the overall production computing environment. Establishes standards for data centers; including capacity planning, lights out operations & maintains data center equipment inventory. Leads daily across all aspects of the IT Hosted Infrastructure and the overall production batch environment. Provides daily reporting on the health and performance of the IT infrastructure and production environment through a series of key performance indicators (KPI’s) for both the online and batch computing environments. Develops and enhances data center SOP documentation and process, including emergency response, E-waste for the company and maintaining COD process, physical security management (monthly audit) and data center infrastructure mapping. Responsible and coordinate decommissioning of obsolete HW and removing from racks. Maintains primary accountability for all Computer and Data Center Operations staff, production scheduling activities, and select application environments through System Operations Infrastructure Monitors and third‑party products specific to the application environments. Drives expense efficiency and reduction throughout the IT organization through the optimization of infrastructure hardware and software expenditure, while consistently acting professionally and promoting professional standards among staff. Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission and values and adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct. Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of all relevant legislative and regulatory mandates and ensures that all activities are in compliance with these requirements. Conducts periodic staff meetings to include timely distribution and education related to departmental and Ethics/Compliance information. Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required. Performs other functions as assigned by management.
