About The Position

This job manages the Epic application and assumes responsibility for new development and existing production support. It manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management of all aspects of a project life cycle. This position provides mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management and makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 7 years related healthcare or project and team management experience including two years in a supervisory/management capacity (experience should include leading large, complex system integration efforts or large software application projects)
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong budget and schedule management skills ensuring the business community is engaged in the project.
  • Problem solving skills and continuous process improvement skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to remain dedicated to client service.
  • Judgment skills to think clearly in complex, dynamic situations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Negotiation skills to work with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field
  • Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.
