Under direct supervision, the Clinical IS Analyst (Epic)-Associate position supports patient-facing Epic applications, with a focus on enhancing the experience across ambulatory and dental workflows. This San Antonio-based role partners closely with clinical teams, operational stakeholders, and the UT Health San Antonio Dental School to support system optimization, implementation, and end-user adoption. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment—demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and continuously learn new technologies. The analyst collaborates across Epic applications (including MyChart and patient experience tools) and provides tier-one support to ensure seamless functionality and a high-quality patient and end user experience. Responsibilities include assisting with build, testing, and implementation activities; supporting patient experience initiatives specific to dental and ambulatory care; and contributing to projects that improve access, communication, and care coordination. Under guidance, the analyst may support project coordination efforts for smaller initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. The role also involves developing and maintaining documentation, adhering to internal standards and workflows, and engaging professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, customer service, and delivering solutions that enhance patient engagement and satisfaction across both medical and dental settings. This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.
