About The Position

The Manager, Investment Product Marketing drives marketing initiatives to support sales and engagement across RBC Global Asset Management's expanding ETF portfolio, with a focus on the RBC iShares alliance. This role serves as a brand ambassador, collaborating with internal teams (product, distribution, digital, design) and external partners to execute product launches, campaigns, and advisor education initiatives. Success requires strong project management skills, deep investment product knowledge, and the ability to analyze metrics to optimize business impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in asset management or the investment industry
  • Strong knowledge of investment products (ETFs, mutual funds) and industry trends
  • Proven experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Seismic, Marketo, Mailchimp, Poppulo, Pardot)
  • Excellent project management, organization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ETF product launches, including creating comprehensive marketing plans, managing stakeholder approvals, and coordinating cross-functional teams (digital, design, content, advertising, distribution) to deliver impactful launches
  • Create and update marketing materials, collateral, videos, surveys, and communications with complex work-back plans, managing extensive reviews and stakeholder engagement
  • Manage production, translation, compliance, and approval processes for national and regional programs and campaigns
  • Lead digital initiatives for ETF education and products on the advisor portal (rbcgam.com) to support advisor skill-building, education, and client interactions
  • Promote key messages, events, and content using marketing platforms including Marketing Cloud, Aventri/Stova, Chime, and other digital tools
  • Ideate on and execute opportunities to improve engagement and brand building
  • Project manage initiatives from start to finish: run meetings, obtain stakeholder approvals, work with internal and external partners, and track deliverables to keep projects on schedule
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously using Wrike or other project management platforms
  • Build and maintain relationships with sales, product, digital, design, and compliance teams to identify and execute brand-building opportunities
  • Analyze engagement and effectiveness metrics to make data-driven recommendations that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance brand experience
  • Stay current on investment industry news and trends, understand investment products, and demonstrate ability to edit and develop product-focused content
