About The Position

Responsible for managing a team of Specialists and driving all Ink Jet sales activities throughout the organization. This role involves managing a team responsible for solution development and justification, product presentation and demonstration, strategic prospecting and selling, business analytics, and expertise with production printing applications. The manager will implement the team's strategic plans for achieving territory quota and maximizing long-term account revenue opportunities, while meeting and/or exceeding revenue and unit requirements set by management and maintaining balanced performance among all team members. Additionally, the role requires maintaining appropriate staffing levels, attracting and retaining key sales talent through effective HR processes, and developing personnel for career advancement and skill enhancement. The manager must also develop and maintain proficiency and superior knowledge of products, programs, pricing, and policies, and develop enhanced skills. Finally, the role involves developing relationships and leading the development of high-level strategies for all sales opportunities within the assignment, including short- and long-term objectives and all areas of the proposed solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.
  • Requires up to 40% travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary) including overnights and weekends.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • All applicants must reside in the United States at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively develops personnel, aimed toward their achievement of success. Prepares all team members for career advancement. Development of team members’ skills and knowledge in all necessary areas.
  • Develops and maintains proficiency and superior knowledge of products, programs, pricing, and policies. Develops enhanced skills.
  • Develops relationships and leads the development of high-level strategies for all sales opportunities within assignment. Strategies should include both short- and long-term objectives, and all areas within the of the proposed solution (pricing, costing, PSR's, Media Analysis, etc).
