About The Position

The Corewell Health Diagnostic Imaging Team supports our mission of improved health, instilling humanity, and inspiring hope. Diagnostic Imaging is an integral part of the healthcare continuum touching millions of lives, each day, each week, each month, each year. About Lakeland Hospitals The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan. About the Corewell Health Care Center – Royalton This campus offers convenient access to coordinated health care, right in your community. Multiple Corewell Health services are available in one location. The Imaging Manager, Corewell Health South, is responsible for oversight of imaging teams at Lakeland Hospitals St. Joseph, Niles, and Watervliet, in addition to the Royalton Health Care Center. Scope of work Plans, organizes, evaluates, controls and manages all functions of one or more of the Imaging Departments. Modalities included, but not limited to: Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Interventional Radiology (IR), Diagnostic Radiology (DX), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography (Mammo), Ultrasound (US), Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) and Support Staff. Coordinates and implements Imaging programs, policies and procedures and assumes the responsibility for ensuring that all programs meet hospital accreditation standards and regulatory compliance. Manages the delivery of patient care, ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice. Accountable for enabling patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Assumes accountability for managing the operational, financial, effectiveness and efficiency of the Radiology Department. Ability to lead employees on exceptional customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent Required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience Required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in leadership Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist Registration Preferred.
