About The Position

The Manager II Technology is responsible for maintaining Information Technology (IT) strategies by researching and implementing technological strategic solutions to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department. This role oversees information systems function for a site, system, or special initiative. The manager will manage multiple cost centers and/or plan of record projects, delivering and supporting software system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas. They will manage at least a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity). The role involves evaluating all directives, change orders, and projects for their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance. Additionally, the Manager II Technology will oversee and implement new subsystems, procedures, and techniques, and manage implementation/integration projects to ensure deliverables. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key business partners is crucial, as is hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluating the performance of direct reports.

Requirements

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including 3 years of management or leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
