About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and implementing the technology strategic solutions related to end-to-end application and system development, delivery, testing, and support within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience leading large enterprise Quality Engineering strategy, driving end-to-end SDLC quality, governance, and metrics.
  • Proven ability to scale test automation and CI/CD-integrated quality practices, enabling shift-left and continuous testing models.

  • Expertise in risk-based testing, release certification, and quality gates to ensure production stability in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience defining and implementing an end‑to‑end quality assurance and quality engineering strategy across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, release readiness, and production quality monitoring.
  • Ability to establish quality standards, metrics, and governance models across multiple teams and platforms.
  • Proven leadership in scaling test automation frameworks (API, UI, performance, security, and regression testing) and integrating quality practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience shifting from traditional testing models to continuous quality and shift‑left testing approaches.
  • Strong ability to influence engineering, product, architecture, and operations teams to embed quality ownership throughout the organization.
  • Establishes collaborative partnerships to ensure quality is designed into solutions rather than inspected at the end of delivery.
  • Experience implementing risk‑based testing approaches, release certification, and quality gates to protect production environments.
  • Ensures testing and validation processes meet regulatory, security, data privacy, and audit requirements, particularly in complex or regulated environments.
  • Proven experience building, mentoring, and leading high‑performing QA and Quality Engineering teams, including manual and automation testers.
  • Develops career paths, technical skills, and a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
