About The Position

The MI Field Service Manager is responsible for planning, managing, reviewing, and executing field service operations to achieve output and quality objectives for a field service shop with large-scale sales. This role involves hiring, training, and coaching a team of one to five or more employees, including Field Service Technicians, Field Service Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and clerical/administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with the team in the field when the need arises.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and productive, driven work ethic required.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to remain calm and clear-headed in an emergency required.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • High school diploma or GED and ten (10) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and reviews all operating expenses at the assigned facility.
  • Manages hiring and firing of all personnel at the assigned facility.
  • Manages all inventory items assigned to the facility.
  • Oversees and reviews all safety and financial audits.
  • Ensures the location has a schedule board and it is updated daily.
  • Ensures all Field Service team members understand and follow all procedures and processes implemented by the CI team.
  • Monitors performance metrics and allocates resources as necessary to ensure high-quality service at optimal efficiency.
  • Develops a documented succession plan for their location.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to all employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
