Manager I, Analytics Engineering

Inroads•Washington, DC

About The Position

This role supports analytics functions for high-profile U.S. Government digital services used by millions of Americans. Working with analysts, developers, engineers, managers, designers, and client stakeholders, the Manager I, Analytics Engineering helps streamline customer journey reporting by configuring repeatable data workflows and data transfers, and ensures critical front- and back-end features are measurable. The role uses log monitoring tools such as Splunk or CloudWatch, data warehouse and storage software (with a strong preference for Databricks), AWS or Azure cloud data processing, and common API inputs and outputs. The successful candidate designs and orchestrates data workflows; supports accurate, streamlined reporting; creates workflows between cloud and on-premises environments that ultimately land in Databricks for reporting through Power BI; and implements workflow efficiencies as client priorities and program features change. The role also collaborates with client technical teams to investigate discrepancies and adapt data models for consistent cross-team reporting. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to attain and maintain a Federal Public Trust security clearance as required by government clients. Inroads describes its environment as friendly, supportive, and collaborative, and offers flexible working hours.
