The Manager, Human Resources provides consultation and support to the Minerals line of business. They also oversee the support, guidance, and development of human resources business partners and generalists. This role involves partnering with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that support strategic growth, offering thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategies, and providing HR expertise in various disciplines. The manager will analyze employee reports, partner with Learning & Development on value-added programs, conduct workforce planning and talent management, and act as a change agent for organizational change initiatives. They will also lead employee relations activities, partner with regional and country HR teams, serve as an acquisition integration manager for the HR function, and maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and employment law. Additionally, the role includes recruiting, training, and overseeing the daily workflow of the HR team, providing performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development for team members.
