About The Position

This role focuses on the day-to-day HR operations within the firm, providing local people insights, identifying and resolving basic employee relations issues, coaching managers, and supporting performance management. The position is also responsible for headcount reporting, acting as an onsite point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll and benefits, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, handling timesheets, coordinating interviews, and overseeing the office management function. The ideal candidate will have experience managing HR in a small-to-medium sized business, preferably in professional services or accounting. This individual should possess executive presence to build confidence with local firm leadership, but strategic initiative experience at a platform level is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership insights, identify flight risks, and manage high-potential employees.
  • Identify and resolve basic employee relations issues (behavioral & performance), coordinate with HRBP, coach managers, and support terminations.
  • Manage day-to-day support and accountability for performance management.
  • Maintain accountability for headcount reporting.
  • Serve as the local onsite point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee timesheets.
  • Coordinate interviews.
  • Take responsibility for the office management function.
