The HR Manager will play a critical role in aligning our workforce with the strategic objectives of our plant. This position entails both leading HR initiatives at the plant level and coordinating with enterprise HR on broader organizational projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR practices, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive HR strategies that support business goals. This position is located in Greeneville, TN. Relocation assistance available.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations and best practices.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an HR Manager or similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector or related industries.
  • Skilled in using HR software and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Analytical and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience using HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and develop actionable insights for improving HR processes and outcomes.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the manufacturing plant.
  • Coordinate with enterprise HR to roll out enterprise-wide HR initiatives and policies at the plant level.
  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational change management strategies.
  • Oversee and manage training and development programs for employees at all levels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
