About The Position

The Manager, HR Technology (Workday Integrations) is a technical leader responsible for driving the strategy, design, delivery, and support of Lennar’s Workday technology ecosystem. This role serves as a subject matter expert across Workday Core capabilities, including HCM, Payroll, and Benefits, with a primary focus on integrations, API standards, system architecture, and scalable technology solutions. The Manager, HR Technology leads a team of HR technology professionals and partners closely with Human Resources, Information Technology, Payroll, Finance, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and innovative solutions. This role establishes integration best practices, ensures data integrity, manages complex technical initiatives, and continuously improves Lennar’s HR technology landscape. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Workday or enterprise HR technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical lead responsible for Workday integrations and system architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Core functionality, including HCM, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Workday integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience defining API standards, integration frameworks, and technical governance practices.
  • Experience leading technical teams and developing high-performing team members.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, HR data, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience managing complex technology initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive solutions across multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3–5 HR technology professionals, providing technical guidance, coaching, prioritization, and career development support.
  • Serve as the technical lead for Workday integrations, including design, architecture, development, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across Workday Core functionality, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and related modules.
  • Define and maintain standards for Workday integrations, APIs, data exchange, security, and system architecture.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead the development and support of inbound and outbound Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Evaluate integration approaches and recommend solutions that align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and business objectives.
  • Oversee technical design reviews, testing strategies, deployment activities, and production support.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet quality, performance, security, and data integrity standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex Workday integration issues and drive resolution across internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and integration partners to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support.
  • Partner with functional HR teams to optimize Workday processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Develop technical documentation, integration standards, process guides, and support materials.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current on Workday capabilities, integration technologies, and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
